Workmanship Warranty Backed by Certification and Standards

A warranty only has value when responsibility is clear.
Homeowners often assume all problems fall under manufacturer coverage, but product warranties and installation warranties are not the same thing.

United Patriot Contracting structures protection so both layers are addressed.

Manufacturer warranties protect materials

Premium exterior products are engineered for durability.
Roofing, siding, decking, windows, and other components can carry long-term manufacturer warranties depending on the product selected.

These warranties cover material defects and defined performance criteria.
They do not automatically cover how those materials are installed.

Installation variables exist outside the manufacturer’s control.

CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ credential

United Patriot Contracting holds CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ certification.

This credential allows eligible roofing projects to be registered for CertainTeed warranty programs that may include workmanship coverage when properly issued.

Manufacturer warranties protect the roofing system components.
CertainTeed extended warranties, when applicable, can also include installation-related workmanship coverage as defined by the registered warranty.

Coverage structure depends on product selection and warranty registration.
All terms are documented in writing.

Why workmanship coverage still matters

Most exterior performance problems originate in installation details rather than defective products.

Flashing integration, fastening patterns, spacing tolerances, sealing transitions, substrate preparation —
these are workmanship variables.

Even the best materials cannot compensate for improper installation.

Workmanship standards determine long-term outcomes.

United Patriot Contracting workmanship warranty

United Patriot Contracting provides a written 2-year workmanship warranty.

This warranty covers installation-related issues arising from the work performed.

It applies to the construction and integration details under the contractor’s control.

This protection operates independently of manufacturer warranties.

Products are covered by manufacturers.
Installation is covered by the builder.

Two layers of protection working together

Manufacturer coverage protects the materials selected.
Workmanship coverage protects how the system was built.

Responsibility aligns with control.

This structure reduces ambiguity and prevents the common scenario where homeowners are left navigating gaps between product and installation accountability.

Warranty terms are defined, not implied

Warranty scope, duration, and coverage boundaries are always provided in writing.

No vague assurances.
No verbal interpretations.

Clear documentation ensures expectations remain aligned with protection.

United Patriot Contracting backs workmanship because installation quality determines whether exterior systems perform as intended.
